Lord Smith of Kelvin has officially opened the new headquarters of Boston Networks.
After a period of sustained growth following several major contract wins, including the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Campus, Boston Networks has relocated its company headquarters to a new purpose designed 8,000 sq.ft space in Braehead, near Glasgow.
Lord Smith, who chaired the organising committee for Glasgow 2014, is Chairman of the Green Investment Bank and Chancellor of the University of Strathclyde, unveiled a plaque to commemorate the occasion.
Chairman, Keith Anderson said: “When we started our search for a new company headquarters, it was important for us to find a blank canvas, where we could design a flexible and diverse working space to represent and reinforce our culture and inspire creativity, whilst providing further room for growth.”
Chief Executive, Scott McEwan added: “The opening of the new office will further support our expansion as the business diversifies into new markets, and will serve to achieve our long term growth strategy to design, deliver, manage and maintain technology within smart buildings, smart campuses and smart cities.”
